Leading the way

Trying to change a business and it’s culture is often likened to getting an oil tanker to change course – but as managing director of Silvey Fleet, Miriam James notes in conversation with leading trade publication, Fuel Oil News, “It’s important to be ready to adopt and adapt.”

Miriam who joined the business in 2010 has instilled a new culture and led the transformation of the company. “Our heritage has always been in supplying fuel – but our mission now is to be the best fleet management solution provider, supporting companies in the efficient, and effective, management of their fleet operations,” says Miriam.

“This transformation would not have been possible without the support of everyone who works at Silvey Fleet. Restructuring and becoming a more agile company has meant we can quickly respond to change.”
