Lauren Marks receives Group Global Finance Award

Last month Silvey Fleet was invited to attend our Mabanaft Group Annual Global Finance event in Hamburg. Our Finance Manager Lauren Marks, who represented Silvey Fleet at the two-day event, gave a presentation about Silvey Fleet to showcase our business, our growth strategy and improvements that we have implemented within our local finance team.

On the second day of the event Lauren facilitated a Q&A session with the Group Chief Finance Officer, helping to ensure that everyone’s questions were captured and presented in a clear and timely fashion.

We’d like to congratulate Lauren, who was presented with a Global Finance Award for her presentation and positive participation over the two-day event – one of just a few awards given out.

Lauren said: “The event was a brilliant team building opportunity with colleagues from around the world meeting each other in person for the first time. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to represent Silvey Fleet and share our achievements at such an event. I have a real passion for what I do at Silvey Fleet and am delighted to have been able to share that with the wider finance team. Winning an award came as a real surprise and I’m very grateful for the recognition, it topped off an amazing two days. I hope to get the opportunity to do this again in the future!”
